Valentina sets up her easel behind the guest seating with everything she needs, complete with lights, shade, easel, and all.Enjoy the painting, illuminated on the easel at the end of the day
Receive the finished piece within 2 weeks.
Once the festivities have come to an end, The work is brought back to the studio to be completed over the next couple of weeks; refining forms and details until it is as beautiful as the emotion and spirit of your day.

What size are the paintings?
They are painted on and 18"x24" stretched canvas, unless you have a different request.
Will you need anything from us on the day-of?
My only needs are a minimum of 4'x4', in the back of the ceremony, behind the guests, to work in, as well as designated space in any other location we might be moving to. Some food when food is served would be amazing, too. Otherwise, I come fully prepared with a battery operated light, battery, parasol, and everything else I might need!
Do you finish it on the same day?
No, I get the piece to a place that looks good on the day, but I ensure that each peace is one I am proud of, and to do this, I take them home where I layer with fresh eyes and ensure everything is as I want it, which usually takes around an extra 25 hours.
When will we receive the painting?
In just 2-3 weeks of the wedding! I work in Oil, which requires drying between layers, and extra time to dry.
Can we ask for certain colors to be omitted/emphasized?
Absolutely! Colors have a profound affect on us, If you have strong preferences, please share and I will gladly incorporate your notes. The painting will live with you, not me, after all.
Can we ask for certain people or pets to be included?
I'd encourage keeping it a painting of just the two of you, but if you insist, I could be convinced! And while family and friends are wonderful, I find including them in the art leads to a busy and less polished piece, lacking focus. I use that space instead to evoke the sparkle, scenery, and magic of the day.
How does payment work?
Payments are processed in two sections, the first half at the time of booking. The remainder on the day before or on, just prior to the ceremony. For weddings over 100 miles from Portland, travel and accommodations must be paid for in advance as well.
Can I cancel, will there be a refund?
Yes, you may cancel, of corse. 1,000 of your 1250 deposit will be refunded up to 1 week prior to the event.
Will you paint at our anniversary?
Yes, absolutely! How fun!
